Q: AWhat area's and villages do you operate in?
A: Based in St Albans we cover all sourounding areas such as, Harpenden, Redbourn, Wheathampsted, Gustard Wood, Kimpton,
Hatfield, Bricket Wood. We will pick 'n' drop you to any destination in the UK.
Q: Are your prices per car or per person?
A: Our prices are per car please see Vehicle capacity for further details.The price you see is the price you pay. You will be charged an extra 10% if you choose to pay by card (this is charged by the credit card company not us).
Q: How early do I need to book my car?
A: The earlier the better. However, 24 hours would be recommended. If you are making a last minute booking it is best to phone, most times we will be in the office long after closing time. If you make a online reservation there is no guarantee that you will get a vehicle unless you receive a confirmation.
Q: Can I make a booking on the phone?
A: Yes you can make a booking on the phone our telephone number is +44(0)1727 848500, most times we will be in the office long after closing time. This is often the best method if you are making a last minute booking. Please check our office opening hours. Alternatively you could e-mail us. If you make a online or e-mail reservation there is no guarantee that you will get a vehicle unless you receive a confirmation.
Q: Can I make a booking if the party consists of more than thirteen passengers?
A: We can provide you a service with a combination of vehicles, please use the special quotation form and ensure that you include the number of passengers in your party and full details of your journey.
Q: Will you meet us at any time of day?
A: Yes we are able to provide a 24hour service. We will meet you at any time of day there will be no extra charge for unsocial
hours. The only time we levy a extra charge is for the christmas period.
Q: How do I meet the driver?
A: Your driver will meet you in the arrivals area near the airport information desk. He or she will be holding a board with the
AirportCONNECTIONS logo and our web page impression. Your name and flight details will be hand written on this board.
Wherever possible we will supply you with the name and mobile/cell phone number of your driver. The airport information desk
is sign posted. The easiest way of finding the desk is to ask someone. You will find many drivers with greeting boards standing
in various parts of the arrivals area your driver will be standing near the airport information desk. Please also see

Q: What will happen if we do not meet the driver?
A: If you are unable to locate our driver please ring +44(0)7960 747093. The duty manager will be in possesion of this phone
and will contact the driver allocated to your booking.If you arrive during office hours please ring the office number +44(0)1727 848500 You will find airport information very helpful in such circumstances. .
Q: What if the flight is delayed or early?
A: We will check the flight status on the day and the driver will arrive at the airport 30 minutes after the flight lands. if you have made other arrangements the driver will arrive according to those arrangements.
Q: I have completed a booking form will you confirm the booking?
A: Yes we will confirm your booking within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not receive this confirmation please contact us as we
may not have received your booking. Unfortunately we have had this problem before. We will also send you a driver confirmation
notification 2 days prior to your arrival. This will contain the name and mobile/cell phone number of the driver.
Q: Do I have to pay any additional costs for waiting?
A: The driver will arrive at the airport ½ hour after your flight arrives or as arranged and will wait for 45 minutes.
If you are delayed and you require the driver to wait, please contact us as soon as possible so we can instruct the driver to
wait for a further 1 hour, which will cost £10 where you have booked a saloon, estate or MPV £20 for 8 seat Mini Bus £25 for
E-Class Mercedes and S-Class Mercedes. If we do not hear from you, the driver will leave the airport. Please note - if you
have any reason to believe that you will clear airport formalities within 30 minutes of landing, please advise us so we can arrange
for the driver to arrive at the airport as soon as your flight lands. The first 45 minutes of waiting is included in the price
(see next question).
Q: What would happen if I were unable to complete airport formalities within the free waiting time?
A: The majority of customers clear formalities within the free waiting time. Our driver will leave the airport if y
ou do not contact us. Unfortunately in such circumstances we have no option but to charge the full fare for the journey. In
some circumstances we may charge a reduced amount based on costs incurred.
Q: Can you guarantee that your driver will be at the airport on time?
A: Though our drivers will make every effort to arrive on time,at times it is difficult to predict traffic and other situations outside
of our control. We will make every effort to contact you via the public address system at the airport if we are delayed.
These instances are very rare 99% of the time we are able to meet your as you exit arrivals. In these circumstances we make
every effort to arrange transport through another company and Where are unable arrange alternative service, we will refund
any advance payment.
Q: Can I pay by credit card?
A: We are able to accept major credit cards via the website or on arrival. There is a surcharge of 10% for all card payments.
You can also pay the driver on arrival in pounds sterling or UK bank cheque in sterling with a guarantee card but you will be required to provide credit card details to secure the booking. No surcharge is a applicable for other forms of payment.
Q: Do I need to pay in advance?
A: No you do not need to pay in advance. Where you elect to pay on arrival we will require card details to secure the booking.
Q: Will my credit card number be secure?
A: Yes, the credit card transaction will be processed by JourneyPAY. This will take place across a secure server and connection.
airportCONNECTIONS can only veiw the last 4 digits of your card number. Where card details are provided to secure bookings they are collected over a secure, encrypted page and are stored in a safe place these are then distroyed after the journey has been completed. We have had no instances of complaints relating to this aspect.
Q: Do we need to tip your driver?
A: Tipping is not essential, but in the UK, a tip is offered as a sign of appreciation for good service. Most of tip in the
region of 10%.
Q: Can I cancel my booking?
A: Yes, you can cancel or postpone a booking. Please see Terms and Conditions..
Q: If I have paid by credit card and cancel my booking and can I get a refund?
A: Yes, you can get a refund less the cost of the credit card transaction fee.
Q: How much luggage can I carry?
A: It is essential that you book a vehicle capable of carrying your luggage for an efficient transfer from the port. Please see
the luggage chart to determine the type of vehicle you require. Please note that if you do arrive with too much luggage for the
vehicle you have booked, we will try our best to get you and your luggage to your destination, but this will often cost extra.
Q: How do I query or cancel a booking?
A: Click on Contact and use the relevant e-mail link.
Q: What is "desired time of pickup"?
A: This is to facilitate flexible pickup arrangements, whenever required. If you are a departing customer we can suggest a
time of pick up. The anticipated Journey Times.are listed in the table. Please note that these are estimates and journey times
may vary dependant on incidents, weather and other unforseeable reasons. If you are unsure please leave it blank and we
would suggest a pick up time. If you are a arriving customer give us the flight details and we will check the flight status.
